The electronic music collective from Madrid, Recreo, will pay tribute to Women's Day on March 4, 2022

Next Friday, March 4th, the Madrid collective Recreo will celebrate an electronic music event at the Madrid club, Hangar 48, where the main theme is the struggle and gender equality. It will be a symbolic night where the day of the woman and her continuous struggle will be honored. The main objective of their events is to be able to accommodate different collectives and artists from all over Spain to show their vision of music to the public. However, this first Friday of March, Recreo wants to give a small reminder about the struggle existing throughout the year: GENDER EQUALITY.

Without a doubt, in our society we have a collective which is still undervalued in many ways. Glass ceilings, judgements for their physical appearance and discredit as a rule are some of the barriers that all women face on a daily basis. From Recreo they want to support and make this cause visible through music.

To contribute to this goal, Recreo has designed a line up in which the figure of the woman predominates. The guests have much to express and offer to the attendants, because there is no doubt that they will make us dance. One of the guest artists is Esterne Moog, also known as Paquitaplatos foundress and editor of this our magazine. As you already know, Esterne Moog is a lover of vinyl and dance sounds, so we will have the opportunity to be delighted by a set of melodic and eclectic Techno.

We will also have the presence of the resident of Recreo, Leire Garmendia where he will develop a set full of energy. Mendi, member of Drone Booking AgencyIt is common to find her in the booths of the best clubs on the peninsula distributing techno, but on this occasion she is going to captivate us with a much more melodic set than we are used to.

Finally, Michiwoky A young woman from Murcia who has not stopped DJing in venues on the Alicante and Murcia scene such as MOSS CLUB, at the Dutch Wolvenroedel festival or at the Ibiza Global Radio, where he has his own program, Consciente.

THE NIGHT PROMISES!

The evening will start at 00:00 and will continue until 06:00. The event will have two rooms in which you can immerse yourself. In the room on the upper floor you will find the artists Michiwoky, I am Jas, which is usually found in the Madrid scene; and Wo Kem, promoter and resident of Recreo. On the ground floor you will be enchanted by the artists Mendi, Leire Garmendia and Esterne Moog.
