The new electronic music festival in Madrid, San Isidronic Festival (IFEMA MADRID Exhibition Centre, 14 May 2022) has announced today its first artists, a sophisticated selection of international underground DJs (Techno, Tech House and House) alongside icons of the Madrid nightlife scene. Among the guests, Helena Hauff, DJ Nobu, Viviana Casanova and Oxia stand out.

San Isidronic Festival announced its birth this week with a mission: to fill a historical lack of electronic music in the cultural programme of San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of the Spanish capital. With two stages, the event will bring together several thousand people in pavilions 4 and 6 of IFEMA MADRID and will offer Madrid residents 10 hours of dancing during the city's big weekend.

With today's announcement, the lineup for 60% is now revealed. Its flagship is German DJ Helena Hauff. Hailing from Hamburg, she is one of the most genuine artists in industrial-style Techno/Electro. She always records analogue and doesn't use social media, but is a regular name every week in the most underground clubs and prestigious festivals on the continent. She runs her own label, Return to Disorder.

The Japanese DJ Nobu He is an icon of clubbing culture in Tokyo and makes his visits to Europe in small increments. Raised in punk culture, his suitcase of records contains a wide range of electronic influences beyond Techno and House. The Frenchman Oxia is a great leader of Techno in France and creator of one of the everlasting anthems of contemporary electronic music, Domino, a track that is still played at the closing of many clubs 16 years later.

First tickets already on sale

The Spanish-Chilean Viviana Casanova is one of the biggest sensations of the moment. Catalan by adoption, she perfectly mixes Deep, Tech House and Techno sounds with rhythms inspired by Hip Hop. Her link with the elrow brand has catapulted her popularity in Spain and beyond our borders. And closing the list of confirmed international artists of this batch, Chloé Robinson is the new name and the evolution of Drum & Bass to Techno of the London artist who for 10 years was called Barely Legal.

The line-up is completed with well-known national DJs such as Pelacha —a symbol of the nights Madrid—, Trømmel (live) and Simón García. Resident artists Adri G and Los Nietos will also perform.

San Isidronic Festival has just released a first batch of tickets at super promo prices for €28 (including a drink) and also offers a VIP option for €74 in www.sanisidronic.com.
