Musically, by the composer Paloma Peñarrubia, 'CRISPR, the pattern of life' travels through organic sounds built through an IDM full of textures. Sci-fi compositions that move through the most atmospheric ambient, drone or the most danceable electronics. Its musical development becomes organic, incorporating different and complex compositional layers, to show, along with the Visual work by Azael Ferrer, the concerns and hopes that genetic editing may bring to our future. Powerful sounds that create emotional and abstract passages, parade as an amalgam of organic textures and concepts, evolving their sound with respect to previous proposals.

A call for reflection

With 'CRISPR, the pattern of life', Bromo continues his commitment to artistic experimentation and scientific dissemination. His first album, 'Trace of erosion' Released in 2017, it explored weather conditions and the effect of environmental erosion, while their second album, 'No Signal', launched in 2020, focused on space research and digital art. Now, with his latest project, Bromo invites the public to reflect on the future of genetic engineering and the impact it could have on our lives.

This multidisciplinary project not only seeks to entertain, but also to educate and provoke critical thinking about scientific advances and their ethical implications. 'CRISPR, the pattern of life' arises from Bromo's deep interest in exploring the possibilities and dilemmas posed by the technology CRISPR-Cas gene editing, a revolutionary tool that allows for precise modification of DNA in living organisms, including humans.

Bromine, inaugurates with this premiere a multi-format project, in which genetic engineering, scientific research, music and visual arts take center stage. This new AV live, is a musical and visual journey loaded with meanings and messages, impossible landscapes, generative images and reinterpreted natures, which delve into and guide the viewer through the universe of synthetic biology and the philosophy of evolution.
