During the interview made to Marie Julie, she shared with us five gems that have inspired her throughout her career. Each of these tracks is a fundamental piece for understand the pulse of Techno and its evolution, from the depths of the Dub Techno to the rawest industrial soundsHere is his personal selection:

1. Basic Channel – Phylyps Trak II/II (1994)

An anthem of the Dub Techno. The German duo Basic Channel defined a minimalist and atmospheric sound that has become legendary. «Phylyps Trak II/II» is one of those vinyls that any Techno lover must listen to in physical format.

2. Wax (19) – No. 40004 (2011)

Under the alias Wax, Shed delivered a series of mysterious releases and minimalists which have become collectors' favourites. This vinyl, loaded with hypnotic grooves and powerful bass, always finds its place in Marie Julie's most intense sets.

3. Jeff Mills – Condor To Mallorca (1994)

Jeff Mills, pioneer of Detroit Techno, needs no introduction. “Condor To Mallorca” is one of their most dynamic tracks, a sonic journey that keeps the energy on the dance floor. A must-have for any powerful set.

4. Surgeon – La Real (2000)

This track is inspired by the mythical Spanish Techno club, La RealWith his signature raw, industrial style, Surgeon delivers a hard-hitting production that puts any sound system to the test.

5. Silent Servant – Untitled (from the Sampler Single Two) (2010)

Silent Servant, a key member of the Jealous God and Sandwell District label, represents the best of dark Techno and experimentalThis untitled track, taken from the label's second sampler, is a mysterious and enveloping gem that Marie Julie doesn't leave out of her deepest sets.
