Monument Festival 2025: a sonic and human journey through the Norwegian woods<\/span><\/h1>

Arriving in Veggli,<\/strong> feels like stepping into a parenthesis of the world. From July 31 to August 3,<\/strong>the Norwegian village once again became a refuge where ambient<\/strong>, nature<\/strong> and community<\/strong> intertwine in a single heartbeat. Monument<\/a> Festival is not simply a festival: it is an immersive experience<\/strong> that invites you to pause, listen, and reconnect.<\/p>

A conscious welcome<\/span><\/h2>

From the very first moment the warmth of the reception<\/strong> made a difference. The organization carefully checked every backpack to ensure that no glass<\/strong> entered the grounds\u2014a measure to protect and respect the natural surroundings.<\/strong>Thanks to this, walking barefoot<\/strong> across grass, soil, and tree trunks became an everyday joy, a liberating feeling rarely found at a festival.<\/p>


Nobody left trash behind\u2014everyone took care of the space. The organization even gifted a pocket ashtray<\/strong> and reminded each attendee to bring or purchase their own reusable cup<\/strong>, which was used for all drinks. Small gestures that, combined, built a harmonious and sustainable coexistence.<\/p>

Rhythm by day, rest by night<\/span><\/h2>

Something unique about Monument is that it is designed to be enjoyed by day<\/strong>, in harmony with the environment. At night, the festival invites rest<\/strong>, silence<\/strong> and deep sleep.<\/strong>And yet, there was always room for resistance: a group of attendees set up their own tent as a silent disco, keeping the pulse of dance alive for those who wanted to extend the experience.<\/p>

One of the most beautiful moments was waking up in the morning, having a coffee,<\/strong> and sitting on a tree trunk,<\/strong>surrounded by forest<\/strong>, while ambient<\/a> music<\/strong> filled the air. A simple routine that became almost ceremonial.<\/p>

A line-up that touched the sublime<\/span><\/h2>

The musical journey of Monument Festival was diverse and carefully crafted, but three moments engraved themselves with special intensity in memory:<\/p>

His session was a tribute to the purity of the analog format.<\/strong>The selection of hidden gems<\/strong> carried the audience into a hypnotic, deep, and warm state. One of those performances that remind us why vinyl remains a unique language in electronic music.<\/p>
