Brazilian producer Quizzik releases Dodging Bullets 101 on 6 Plusten Records

In his first release for the 6 Plusten Records label, Quizzik produced a response to these dark times, especially in Brazil.

«Dodging Bullets 101» is the follow-up to a remix Quizzik made for Brazilian experimental artist ^L_ on a launch via Berlin-based label ANTIME. The single was composed in a crescendo mode that evolves through different moods and aesthetic scenarios, constantly changing as it builds, like a metaphor for ourselves going through the randomness of life.

The song, ironically named after a rule book on how to deal with the daily challenges and struggles we encounter, evokes that while we occasionally have an idea on how to approach new problems, most of the time we are clueless.

Then life rewards us with a sweet slap in the face. Aside from the cheesiness of the learning process, all we need is a good soundtrack to keep us pumped up for the battle.

Artist Biography

Quizzik is a dj and Brazilian producer dedicated to the electronic music experimental, electro and soundtrack composition, which in turn has been part of the duo electronic DeltaFoxx, who has performed live in the United States and Brazil and has been talked about in media such as Les Inrockuptibles (FR), Dancing Astronaut and Impose Magazine with his tracks and remixes published on labels such as Electronic Rumors (UK), Epidemic House Music (SWE), Brazilian Disco Club via THUMP/VICE and Crunchy Music (BR). In 2021 he returned to his electro roots and IDM Inspired by old school heroes like Luke Vibert, Jega, AFX and Squarepusher.
