Basspirit Magazine presents an interdisciplinary event merging electronic music, visual art, and experimental fashion in Berlin
Basspirit Magazine, an independent platform focused on underground electronic culture, presents an event curated by OX Techne that brings together ambient, art, and community in one space.
A multisensory gathering featuring modular synth live sets, vinyl DJ sets, performances, visual installations, and contemporary art exhibitions. It will take place on Thursday, July 3rd at The Social Hub, Alexanderstraße 40, 10179 Berlin, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
A celebration of the physical, the handmade, and the collective —where music is not a product, but a language.
LINE-UP & ARTISTS
Menion
The project of guitarist and composer Stefano Ferrari, Menion crafts immersive and atmospheric live sets that intertwine processed guitar, glitch, ambient, and post-rock. His approach is narrative and visual—each set unfolds like a journey through emotional landscapes and abstract sound imagery.
Disrupted Nature (ANA RITOVSKI + JUCA + ROBIN BURKE)
A performative installation where waste comes to life. Ana Ritovski distorts plastics collected from the Portuguese coast through a video synthesizer. These projections merge with Juca’s textiles — made from salvaged materials — and the sonic architecture of Robin Burke. Together, they form a collective, ruined, vibrant body.
Nico Rosenberg
Hybrid, introspective, and process-based ambient. This Chilean artist based in Berlin blends analog and digital elements to create enveloping soundscapes. His live sets drift between contemplative textures and open structures, inviting deep listening. Nico Rosenberg also develops plugins and audio tools under the name Epica Audio.
Unstable Matter
Unstable Matter, spanish DJ based in Berlin with an eclectic and precise selection. His vinyl sets weave together techno, house, dub, and ambient in a fluid narrative. His physical and emotional approach pays homage to both Detroit and the 90s European scene.
Esterne Moog
Esterne Moog, founder of Basspirit Magazine and curator of the OX Techne project. Her vinyl sessions span dub techno, electro, melodic techno, and ambient—with an aesthetic that favors raw, handcrafted, and sensitive sounds. Passionate about physical formats and emotional connection through sound.
Joy Huebner
His vinyl selections blend sci-fi soundscapes, groove, and emotional techno. Joy Huebner, born in Hannover and raised in Málaga, Joy has played in clubs such as About Blank, Renate, and Suicide Club. His style navigates between mystery and sensitivity, with a rhythmic pulse that speaks to both body and mind.
Backlogs
From Naples to Berlin, Backlogs fuses street funk with the pulse of techno. His style shifts between dub, Detroit, and early 2000s hardgroove. Former resident at Sound Department and regular on Secret Keywords, his sets are physical, vibrant, and deeply rhythmic.
Gianmarco Silvetti
Gianmarco Silvetti founder of Secret Keywords and curator of the “New Faces” series at Tresor. A committed vinyl advocate, his sets combine rhythmic rawness with deep storytelling. His selection explores the edges of techno with curatorial and exploratory sensitivity.
FASHION PERFORMANCE: BHADMAALI — Welcome to the Circus
A radical, theatrical, fearless collection. Madrid-based designer Bhadmaali transforms found clothing into one-of-a-kind pieces that challenge commercial fashion logic. Her live performance—accompanied by a DJ set from Esterne Moog—is an explosion of color, aesthetic critique, and transformative attitude. Dressing as political, creative, and playful act.
ART EXHIBITION: What we remember, what we are, and what we carry
Three ways to connect with memory, the body, and the environment. A collective exhibition navigating the emotional and the material through collage, textiles, photography, and installation:
Mireia Aixelà
Textile collages as landscapes of emotional memory
Iñigo Roncal
Intervened self-portraits exploring identity and the body.
Lethe
Physical and digital collages on forgetting, glitch, and fragmentation.
A STATEMENT OF INTENT
This event is not made to entertain—it’s meant to activate. It does not aim to please—but to resonate.
A space where electronic culture is lived in a tangible way, where visual and sonic languages meet without hierarchy, where art is not sold, but shared.
Basspirit Magazine documents music from a sensitive and real perspective.
OX Techne is its physical extension: a channel for what’s analog, what vibrates, what doesn’t fit the algorithm.
We are moved by the human.
We are moved by what is felt.
We are moved by what doesn’t ask for permission.
